Processing will be carried out with the following purposes and methods:

2. Object of processing.

The Data Controller shall process the personal data transmitted by the customer by navigating on the Site (name, surname, e-mail, telephone, credit card number) solely for the purposes set out in this notice.

When the customer arrives at the facility, he or she will also be asked for details of an identification document in order to comply with the legal obligations imposed on accommodation facilities.

If an invoice is issued, the customer will also be asked for his residential address and tax code as required by Presidential Decree 633/72.

3. Purpose of processing.

The processing purposes pursued in general by the Controller can be summarised as follows:

  • to enable the customer to book and pay for a stay at the facility;
  • to enable the customer to send a contact e-mail with special requests;
  • to fulfil the obligations imposed on accommodation facilities by law.

4. Categories of personal data concerned.

The data processed will be those, described above, strictly necessary for the provision of the requested service.

5. Recipients or possible categories of recipients of personal data.

Customer data will be disclosed to the following parties:

  • Questura di Venezia, in fulfilment of legal obligations (limited to name, surname and identity document details);
  • Online booking system: Krossbooking;
  • The accountancy firm in charge of administrative, accounting and tax compliance.

Customer data will not be disseminated.

6. Data transfer.

The management and storage of personal data will take place on the Data Controller's and/or third party companies' servers located within the EU and no transfer of personal data outside the territory of the European Union will take place.

7. Period of data retention.

The Owner will keep the personal data provided (name, surname, email, telephone number, credit card number, identity document details) for the time necessary to fulfil the purposes described above; the data will consequently be deleted seven days after the end of the stay in order to give the Owner time to check that the property has been returned in good condition. Only fiscal data (name, surname, address of residence and tax code), in the event of an invoice being issued, will be kept for 10 years as required by law.

8. Rights of the data subject.

As a data subject, the customer has the following rights:

a) the right to request from the data controller access to personal data and, if any, their rectification or erasure or to object to their processing, as well as the right to data portability;

(b) the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

The customer may exercise the aforementioned rights by sending an e-mail to the Data Controller at the address mentioned in Article 1) above.

9. Nature of providing data and consequences of refusal to answer

The communication of data for the above-mentioned purposes is necessary and obligatory. In their absence, it will not be possible to provide the customer with the services described in Art. 3).
